Takashi Kato

Takashi is CEO and president of Skyfinis and is the lead contact in the Japanese market. He obtained his masters in in Environmental Management from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. His career includes working on the administrative staff at the Japanese Embassy in Athens, Greece and consulting with IBM Consulting Services in Tokyo. Afterwards, Takashi transitioned his career to work for his family's business, Yugyokuen Ceramics, where he developed into his current position as president and CEO.

Joseph K. Hosea

Joseph (aka Kiki) is co-founder and vice-president of Skyfinis. He obtained his Ph.D. in Atomic and Molecular Physics from Texas A&M University in 1996. He worked for over 17 years at Harris Corp. in new product and business development in ion detection systems in addition to 10 years in success fundamental experimental laboratory work. He has five patents - including IonSpine - and one patent pending. He has contributed to seven publications.

Omar Hadjar

Omar is co-founder and vice-president of Skyfinis. He obtained his Ph.D. in Atomic and Molecular Physics from the Royal University of Groningen, Holland in 2001. He worked for four years at Harris Corp. as senior research scientist in design of ion detectors for mass spectrometers. Prior to that, he spent five years at Xylem developing IonCam, a transportable mass spectrometer, and introducing IonCCD, a stand-alone ion detection system, into the market. His academic (post-doctoral) experience in the field of mass spectrometry includes four years of designing and constructing ion guides, ion sources and high dynamic range magnetic sector. He has one patent, IonSpine, and one patent pending. He has contributed to 30 publications.
